ROOTS & RITUALS: A CACAO KINSHIP JOURNEY

A 3-month journey into cacao’s ancestral roots, sacred reciprocity, and ceremonial pathways — for seekers, guides, and guardians walking the cacao path.

Weaving ancestral traditions with contemporary practices to deepen your relationship with cacao.

MORE THAN A TRAINING. A REMEMBRANCE OF WHO WE ARE.

In this 3-month program, you will be guided into the depth of cacao’s biocultural landscape – honoring her as a plant-ancestor in service of the Earth. You will remember your own sacred connection to the Earth and awaken your indigenous heart – rooted in kinship, reciprocity, and belonging.

You will explore the sacredness of cacao, receiving her messages for humanity, learning how to enter into relationship with her, and discovering how she can become your ally on your personal return to the Earth – beyond concepts, through lived experience. Through ritual practices, living prayers, and embodied teachings, you will learn about her spirituality, her evolution in this world, and how her presence continues to shape humanity.

This offering serves the greater good of all. Part of the tuition goes directly to our Safeguarding the Biocultural Heritage of Cacao project, where we aim to preserve her ancestral seeds in a dedicated seed bank.

Cacao Kinship: A 3-Month Journey

The program is divided into two essential pathways:

Foundations & Ancestral Roots
We begin by grounding ourselves in the origins of cacao — her ancestral roots and biocultural heritage. You will be guided through Indigenous wisdom traditions and the principle of sacred reciprocity, learning relational practices to connect deeply with Mama Cacao. This is where your worldview begins to shift, opening to the animacy of life and the sacredness woven into every living being.

Ceremonial & Medicinal Pathways
From this rooted foundation, we move into the ceremonial and medicinal uses of cacao. You’ll receive the tools and understanding to honorably begin sharing cacao medicine, always in alignment with her lineage and heritage. Together, we will explore the ethics of ceremonial spaces, the importance of integrity, and practices of reciprocity that you can integrate into your own path.

JOin THE JOURNEY

A Plantcestor Forging our Pathway Home

Cacao is far more than something to be consumed or exploited — yet across the world, she is still deeply misunderstood. The colonial legacy has left its mark on our humanity, disconnecting us from our essence and the circle of life that sustains us.

This 3-month journey is an invitation to return — to remember our place in the web of life and to honor the sacred connection between humans and the land that shaped us.

Why cacao?

Cacao is a master plant, a wisdom keeper with a rich cultural heritage that has profoundly shaped humanity. Her ancient message calls us to come back to our Mother, to honor creation, and to weave sacred reciprocity into our daily lives.

Through this program, you will be guided to unlearn what has been imposed, to release the programming of separation, and to step into your role as a guardian of life. Together, we will bridge ancient wisdom with modern needs, paving the way for all beings to return to unity.

ANSWER THE CALL

What you'll receive?

Deep connection with cacao as a living teacher

Through embodiment practices and deep communion with the medicine, you will be invited to enter into a more intimate relationship with cacao. In these spaces of listening and feeling, her subtle yet powerful messages will begin to unfold.

As your awareness expands, you will come to recognize cacao not only as a plant, but as an animate force moving with you — guiding, teaching, and weaving her presence into your daily life.

Understanding of cacao’s ancestral and biocultural heritage

During this 3-month program, you will learn about the ancestral historical roots of cacao and will build a better understanding of where she is from and what she came here to teach us.

Guidance on creating ethical and sacred ceremonial spaces

In the second part of this journey, you will be guided by wisdom keepers and experienced ceremonialists who have walked with cacao for many years. Their teachings will offer you the tools and foundations to create your own ceremonies and to share the sacred with others.

This is not about performance, but about walking with integrity. You will learn how to hold space in an ethical and embodied way — rooted in respect for cacao’s lineage and in reciprocity with all of life.

Relational practices to integrate reciprocity into daily life

This program is for those who are ready to move beyond ideas and truly embody what they have learned. Together, we will journey from dreams and spiritual awakenings into grounded, anchored actions — bringing spirit back to the Earth and rising into the unity consciousness we are all made of.

In Earth-based spirituality, every living being is animated by spirit. As we step into this space of recognition, you will discover your own aliveness, cutting through the illusion of separation. With breath, body, and the ecosystem that surrounds you, you will remember what it means to live in unity once more.

Opportunity to experience cacao medicine on her native lands (Guatemala immersion)

From February 24 to March 3, 2026, we embark on an 8-day cacao pilgrimage in Guatemala, an additional journey for those participating in our 3-month Cacao Kinship program. This immersive experience allows you to connect even more deeply with cacao and her living ecosystem, bringing the teachings and practices of the program into a living, embodied context.

This pilgrimage is highly recommended for those called to serve cacao to others, whether as guides, facilitators, or devoted seekers of its sacred medicine

Throughout the program, we will be joined by guest wisdom keepers — elders, farmers, and guardians of cacao who carry ancestral knowledge and lived experience. These voices will bring depth and authenticity to our journey.

"I have been guided through a journey of total immersion that allowed my heart to completely crack open and savor the beauty found in life’s simplicity. Surrounded by the lush abundance of the jungle, this has been one of the most eye-opening experiences I’ve had, especially considering the ease of connection fostered by the warmth of the locals. Charlotte has guided me through many cacao ceremonies, and believe me when I say I would never recommend anything or anyone unless I truly feel it comes from a place of devotion. Devotion to the history and culture, giving credit where it’s due, and above all, giving back to the community."
